Who are you?
I’m an artist based in London.
Where in the world are you from?
I was born and raised in Beijing.
What was the first camera you picked up?
My mother’s old Olympia I think, silver colour with a sliding cap on it.
Tell us a little more about the picture that you submitted for lofi. Does it have a name?
It’s an image from my sharing sky project during lockdown. I asked my friends to send me a picture of the sky wherever they are with a text message.
Most memorable place visited as a photographer?
Tibet in China and Atacama in Chile.
One place you’d like to visit as a photographer?
Patagonia .
What’s next in the pipeline?
I just started teaching MA photography students and I’m looking forward to growing together with them. At the same time I’m working on a new collaborative sound project.
Hashtag you most overuse?
none.
Have you (or do you intend to) create a book on your photography?
Not yet but I will when it comes to an interesting subject matter.
